Who we are
Unravel Consulting ("1ravel") runs 1ravel.com. We implement and maintain Odoo for companies worldwide.
What we collect
Only what you send us yourself: the contact form (name, work email, company, message) and the booking flow (name, email, chosen meeting time). Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
Why
To reply to you, to schedule the call you asked for, and to run the engagement if we end up working together. Nothing else. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
Where it lives
Form and booking data goes into our CRM (Odoo). The site itself is served by Cloudflare. Visit statistics are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union, and never leave it.
Cookies and tracking
What happens here depends on where you are, because the rules do.
If you are in the European Union, we ask. A bar appears at the bottom of the page with two buttons, accept or refuse, one click each. Until you answer, and for as long as you refuse, nothing is stored on your device — no cookie, no local storage, nothing — and nothing is recorded. The visit is still counted, so refusing costs you nothing and costs us very little. The one thing we remember either way is your answer, so that we do not ask again.
If you accept, or if you are outside the European Union, we set a first-party cookie, so we can tell a returning visit from a new one, and we record how the page was used: scrolling, clicks, which sections were read. Anything you type is hidden before it leaves your browser — form fields are never recorded. Those recordings are deleted after 30 days. Outside the EU we do not show the bar, because no law there asks us to.
In every case your country is worked out from your IP address on arrival and kept with the visit; the IP address itself is not stored. Our analytics (PostHog) is loaded from our own domain rather than its own, so no third-party request leaves your browser, and the data is processed in the European Union. Neither it nor Cloudflare Web Analytics follows you to any other site. The forms are protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. One page carries a YouTube video. Its still image is served from this domain and the player is not loaded at all unless you press play, so YouTube only learns you exist if you choose to watch; if you do, it is Google that sets cookies at that point, under their terms, and we use the no-cookie player to keep that to a minimum.
If you send us a message, the pages you looked at during that visit are attached to it, so we can see what you were reading before you wrote. That list is held by your own browser for the length of the visit, is never sent anywhere unless you submit the form, and disappears when you close the tab.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data only as long as your inquiry or our business relationship requires. You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted: send the request through the contact form on the homepage and we will handle it.
